My fiance went to Accent Dental in April of this year. He had a tooth pulled by one of their Drs(who isn't listed on their website so I can't find his name) and the Dr said that the infection was localized to the tooth. He wrote my fiance a script for vicodin and sent us on our way. The next day we went to the ER because he was in agonizing pain and they said he was infected and they gave us a script for Clindamycin which was what Accent Dental should have given him in the first place. So now we have that ER bill to pay for what Accent should have provided in the first place. Now October 13th 2010 my fiance went back to Accent Dental to have a plate removed that was rejecting from his jaw. This time he saw Dr Lyzak. He gave my fiance a script for Clindamycin this time along with vicodin. A week later my fiance was back in their office, the pain had not improved at all. Dr Lyzak wrote him a script for more vicodin but not more Clindamycin. The doctor claimed my fiance was fine. Once the antibiotics were gone, he should have been better, but he is still in pain! My mother and I called their emergency line this past weekend and they didn't give us a single call back. My mother was the one asking for more vicodin, while I was asking for more antibiotics. I called Accent today(Monday October 25th) and was put on the phone with Dr Lyzak. He claimed my fiance was fine again and that he has a problem with pain killers. I've been with my fiance for a year and a half now and there is no way he has a problem with pain killers. And there's no way he is fine when his face is still swollen and he's still in pain. He doesn't even want to take any pain killers because they don't work! What he needs is more antibiotics. I wish I could rate Accent Dental and Dr. Lyzak with less than 1 star!
