The Center for Visual and Performing Arts is the area’s premier venue for the arts that offers an elegant setting for weddings, parties and business meetings. The Center for Visual and Peforming arts is a 72,660-square-foot facility that opened in 1989, providing services for meetings, seminars, banquets, weddings, dinners, theater and fine arts. An elegant dining room can accommodate up to 450 guests or be divided for smaller parties. Other unique space options are available, including smaller rooms to accommodate private parties and business meetings. CVPA is home to Theatre at the Center, South Shore Arts, Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra, The Munster Chamber of Commers and Munster Television. Supporting the cultural and educational needs of the community for more than 20 years, the CVPA is conveniently located along historic Ridge Road in Munster, only 25 miles from downtown Chicago.
